And not just because I lost my case!
Once the solicitor got legal aid, she stopped doing anything and wouldn't allow me to switch to another firm.

I had to collate all my evidence to give to her myself. At court, she didn't turn up or contact me, or get in touch with any of my family to advise them. This was new for us.

The barrister met with me once and at court, for my FIVE day trial, actually had another case in the Crown Court at the same time!

Clearly she wanted to get to that (maybe more profitable) case, as by 12.30 she'd agreed a compromise with the prosecutor, that I felt unable to refuse.

She then failed to make any mitigation for me and just allowed me to be sentenced.

My first experience of the (in)justice system, that led to the worse few years of my life.

I choose a solicitor based on her really understanding the case and instead of helping me, they all me over.

I so, want to name the solicitor as her failures may not be reflective of the whole firm, but judging from their set up, maybe it is.

Moral of the story?
I urge you NOT to use this firm if you want any professionalism or actual defence in a case.
