It is a pleasure to recommend Nicholas Ball for his outstanding knowledge skills and expertise in Commercial and business acquisitions

I have bought three businesses over the last couple of years and the expertise of Nicholas Ball has been outstanding. Before Nicholas became our solicitor our first business purchase was stalling but as soon as Nicholas got involved everything started happening at a rapid pace. He is highly professional, proactive, knowledgeable and skilled (and very friendly and accessible) and he is a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend him to any business owner who wants to pursue business acquisitions in a timely and proactive way. He is also very knowledgeable not only about the usual legal aspects of buying a business but also has specialist knowledge in relation to matters like HMRC capital allowances which can save a lot of money in taxes (always welcome!)

Nicholas and the team were fantastic in dealing with the completion of our first house. There were some complications with the sellers solicitors but Butcher & Barlow dealt with them with efficiency and ease!
