Happy with everything

I have dealt with several of the partners and staff at Butcher and Barlow over the last seven years and have been delighted by their approachable, helpful nature and their high professional standards. Having spent 40 years in business, including 20 years running my own, I know that finding a reliable law firm is not easy, and I wish I had discovered them sooner. Although Butcher and Barlow are not local to me and I haven’t used them for my business, they have handled a number of different issues exceptionally well. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great litigation experience and service

As an SME navigating complex client interactions in a commercial setting can be very difficult. Whilst we're experts in our own fields navigating running the business and dealing with any litigation complexities needs lawyers who are responsive, reassuring and deliver the best outcome. Butcher and Barlow did this for us and resolved our issue quickly, with minimum fuss. Couldn't have asked for more.

Excellent Outcome - Excellent Service

Having spent two years in a protracted dispute with a client over the payment of several large invoices we contacted Butcher Barlow to ask for some advice. Asim Din was appointed to us and from his first contact he explained fully the position we were in and our options. With his help we formulated a plan and he then put it in to practice. I found his professionalism and calm demeanour a real boon as to me this was over two years of stress and conflict being worked through to a conclusion. We followed Asim's recommendations at each step and I must admit that the outcome far exceeded my expectations. I would whole heartedly recommend both Butcher Barlow and in particular Asim Din to anyone who finds themselves in unfamiliar territory and needs legal expertise to solve a problem.

Exceptional service - highly recommend

Rebecca Jepson represented my family with a fairly complex land transaction. Rebecca's service was exemplary, as I was representing my family and there were multiple stakeholders involved, Rebecca spent a great deal of time explaining the transaction to myself and then providing a clear and concise regular brief that I could share with the other parties.

The transaction was complex and Rebecca was tenacious when dealing with the other parties who were quite challenging but throughout our dealings (approx 18 months) Rebecca was professional and approachable at all times.

A breath of fresh air!

Rachel did the conveyancing for us on a property we sold. Dealing with Rachel was a breath of fresh air compared to other solicitors we've used in the past. I have been on this planet for many a year, and have had countless dealings with different people and organisations.

Perhaps I am one of those blessed or very lucky individuals, but generally speaking, all my dealings with B & B have been painless.
Having said that, I don't think that my guardian angels have anything to do with the most professional and customer friendly treatment I have received from ALL at Butcher & Barlow (NORTHWICH).
I was not expecting a ''What do you think of Butcher & Barlow'' today because I have done business with them a few occasions prior.
However, when I left their office today I told the dear lady at the front desk that I thought they were all very charming people.

For over 12 months, Mark Fletcher at Butcher and Barlow has been providing me with excellent legal advice. Although it sometimes might not have been what I wanted to hear, it was always in my best interests. Mark informed me of the fees up front so there were never any hidden costs.
