Being first time buyers and with the current state of mortgages, it’s easy to say that we were a little daunted with the entire legal process of buying a house. Luckily we got recommended Winston solicitors through a friend and we are so thankful we did. Samantha was the most professional but also kind and helpful solicitor we have ever had the luxury to help us out. This became 10x more apparent when the sellers solicitor was quite unprofessional and less than engaging with the entire process. Samantha however, was calm and professional and chased up every process as quick as humanely possible. If you need a solicitor that has your back and will fight your corner when it comes to the entire purchasing a house process, then I could not recommend Samantha enough.

I guess most of the reviews on this site will be from clients who are undoubtedly satisfied with the service provided. Another measure of a company though is the way in which they deal with their own service providers and suppliers. From personal experience, I can say that Poole Alcock are one of the most professional, communicative, flexible and friendly groups of people I have provided services to and I do hope our working relationship continues for many years to come.

Howells Solicitors offers expertise and support. Chris Wong, one of its most experienced solicitors, is extremely knowledgeable and is prepared to help both clients and people who just seek advice. He was generous with his time and offered tremendous help with clarifying possible outcomes of a difficult case. Even though it was not possible to transfer the case to him in the end, he offered help and advice free of charge and showed incredible humanity that gave us faith in the justice system. This is a person who really cares for justice. I would recommend him unreservedly.

In brief, I have had an ongoing, unresolved dispute for over a decade. Within my first half an hour of free legal advice, I was given a clear account of what the law stipulates, in respect of my circumstances. I could have instructed a solicitor to act on my behalf at this point. However, I was encouraged to begin the process myself costing me nothing more than my time, pen and paper. I feel this is very fair and Mr. Jordan was trying to save me some money in the initial stages of my ongoing saga. He clearly explained exactly what I needed to include in my correspondence and at which point to get back in touch, should I need further assistance. Any solicitor, in any firm, that ever needs to be utilised, comes at a price. Usually caused by another individual crossing over the lines of the law. That is life. You get what you pay for. I am extremely satisfied with every step of the process I have been guided through and would definitely recommend Slee Blackwell to anyone else.

Having moved multiple times in recent years, the most recent becoming a nightmare due to unnecessary obstructions, so it was a relief and a pleasure to find someone who was as good as her word in picking up our purchase and moving this through to completion. Simply said, but the manner delivered was transparent - actual and effective communication throughout, accessibility with follow without protraction or avoidance. This was someone that was onside and working in harmony with the client to deliver the objective quickly and effectively. The Paralegal in question was Daisy Otton - someone that should be seen as a local benchmark for others to attain.

After 7 years of doing business with a broker in the same field as myself, a man I had become to consider a friend, I found myself owed a substantial amount of money amounting to over 300K in a matter of months. Billy Smith came highly recommended by Ellen Peterson also of FJG following a conversation with myself describing my situation, stress and concern. Right from the onset Billy was extremely professional and very proactive, coming up against curve ball after curve ball he was very tenacious and got a charge listed against the debtors property, he was calm and confident at times when I wasn’t. This case was not easy however Billy and his team made sure it was, my recommendations entirely.
