Extremely reassuring

Emma from Butcher and Barlow was recommend by a family friend and I am very glad I took their advice. Buying a house is renowned for being a stressful time and our experience was certainly no different. We were very lucky to have Emma and the team at Butcher and Barlow reassuring us along the way that all was in hand. Going above and beyond to ensure we didn’t cut any corners and most importantly despite being extremely busy making sure we got the updates and support when we needed them most.
We are extremely happy to have the keys to our new home and can’t recommend Emma enough.

Won't get in touch without you emailing three times, unresponsive, unclear and won't send you your paperwork (deeds etc)... Its nearly been a year since we moved in, which was heavily drawn out because of this solicitors and we've still received no paperwork, instead we've been notified, by email, that we now owe a small administrative charge of around £8... No apology for the huge inconvenience and delay just an unexplained 'administration' charge!

I instructed Butcher and Barlow to sell my property and have to say the service they gave me was outstanding. What should of been a simple transaction proved to be really difficult due to the buyers solicitor, this was no reflection on Butcher and Barlow at all, they kept my informed on progress and responded to all of my questions when I asked them. Ella Woodie was my main contact and found her to be polite, helpful and understanding of my frustrations. I will certainly use Butcher and Barlow again for my future purchases and sales.

Would highly recommend Adam Shawcross for any property sale and/or purchase. Adam works with such honesty and integrity, and ensures he has covered all bases before you part with such a large amount of money! Adam is very informative about the buying and selling process and happy to answer any question, no matter how small or silly it may seem! We had a last minute hiccup with our bank and Adam was both persistent with the bank in resolving the issue whilst still managing to keep us calm and informed. Would highly recommend Adam and Legal Secretary Julie to anyone looking to buy or sell property, be it commercial or residential! Thanks again for everything.
