Reshma joined Brooklyn Law in October 2016 as a Legal Administrator in the criminal department. Reshma graduated from Greenwich University with a BA Honours degree in Law & Psychology and went on to complete her Masters in Criminal Litigation at City Law School. Whilst still supporting the criminal department, Reshma is a dedicated Paralegal within the Civil and Private Client department where she provides comprehensive and client-focused support across a broad range of legal matters. She is known for her professional approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy. In her current role, Reshma works closely with the Private Client department assisting with Probate matters, Will drafting and estate planning. She regularly supports clients through often complex and emotionally sensitive situations, ensuring matters are handled with care, clarity and efficiency. In addition to her private client work, Reshma has experience in various areas of law including Landlord and Tenancy matters, as well as assisting with residential conveyancing transactions which involve liaising with Land Registry, including preparing and submitting various applications, reviewing title registers and plans, responding to requisitions and ensuring that registrations are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Reshma take pride in her meticulous approach to legal work and her ability to manage a varied caseload. She is committed to delivering a high standard of service and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

    I contacted Brooklyn Law firm after going onto the internet and looking at various law firms. I was pleased with what I read and contacted them.     Reshma was very helpful throughout the process. As were any others I dealt with. However, when I visited the office in person to sign and collect a copy of the final version etc. . There seemed to be some confusion about whether final amendments had been made and therefore a delay in sending them through to print it so I could sign it and get my copy. It almost felt as if they had forgotten I was coming. Kept waiting more than an hour.. Bit excessive just to print it, me read it through and sign and then get a copy? The delay seemed to be in someone sending the final version through from another office. Kept being told it would be there in 5/10 mins. In the end I said I had to leave for another meeting (true!) and would have to come back - minutes later it miraculously came through from the other office!. Shame to end my experience this way. Happily all done now, original stored and I have the various copies I need. Hopefully the people involved will have learnt from my experience and any future client will be dealt with more speedily!

    Will for a Gujarati Speaker

    Reshma provided a professional service helping to organize a will for an elderly person whose first language was Gujarati. Transparent with the costs, helped make amendments and arranged for the will to be signed and witnessed at their local offices. Parking was available and with offices on the ground floor, there were no issues with access for someone elderly and with mobility issues. Throughout the process, Reshma was professional, polite and made an effort to ensure that the will could be completed with the minimum of fuss. Finding legal professionals with the ability to converse in Gujarati (south of the river) proved to be more difficult than expected and fortunately Reshma was able to step in ensuring her client's wishes were met and understood perfectly. Would highly recommend this law firm and grateful for Reshma's assistance
