Shannan began his legal career back in 2016, attending Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in 2020 having completed a 4-year degree in LLB and Legal Practice, obtaining level 6 qualifications in Criminal Litigation and Company and Partnership Law. He since became member of CILEx in 2021 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and Fellow in May 2022. Ongoing qualifications include both the Legal Practitioners Course and LLM, with a view to be dually qualified with both CILEx and the SRA in 2023, along with holding a master’s in law with a specialist focus on sporting and regulatory matters.
