I was facing nearly 400,000 worth of PG claims and tried to defend them myself with a bit of advice from a non legal PG expert. That sort of my was potentially life changing and the stress was unimaginable. Joanna and her team took control of the 2 cases even though they were a messy. They stuck by me over the years of waiting and gave me confidence we would win. The 1st case we a PG with a merchant and the case was built that strongly that they walked away from it. The second one was a very large amount of money that went too court. Joanna recommended a barrister who was perfect for the case and for me. Together they built a case but the difference on the day was the preparation. Our prep alone was so much more organised and precise too the argument than the 4 lawyers on the other side. We guided the Judge too the points of relevance consistently and won I know that both Joanna and my barrister Thomas were a business and working but I felt safe and secure that I was being supported and protected by people that genuinely care. Joanna Connolly are a fantastic law firm who have helped me with multiple cases. The staff are very warm and friendly and everything is explained very clearly. The first 2 cases were dealt with out of court, however the most significant was a recent one which went to court. The barrister who JCS recommended (Tom Brennan) was equally good, and our case was so well prepared that it took the judge about 5 minutes to throw the case out. In addition the judge awarded costs meaning that I was refunded the fees. Companies such as the claimant in my case are incredibly predatory. I was in a serious mental health crisis when I originally got into debt around five years ago and I imagine this is a similar story for many people. The repackaging of such debts to be bought and sold seems unconscionable to me and in this case correct procedures were not being followed. At least part of the debt which the claimant had purchased was not from a credit card I had ever taken out. Without the help of Joanna Connolly Solicitors I would have had to incorrectly pay a sum of money which would have been highly stressful, as well as impacting my credit score which I am trying to repair. So I am really grateful to this firm, thank you!

I have used these guys for 4 different disputes following issues I have had when some of my accounts were sold. They have always been extremely helpful, efficient, effective and great to deal with. They always break things down into layman's terms and help you understand what is happening. They have resolved my disputes in my favour each time and advise on best course of action. They would be the first number I'd call should I need this kind of help again.

I approached JCS in relation to an old debt which i was being hounded by from Lowell. I dealt initially with Sam who instantly put me at ease and lowered the high anxiety I was experiencing. She went through the entire process and was polite, professional and non judgemental. I then dealt with Joanna who drafted my Defence and again put me at ease and was lovely to deal with. As a result of me instructing JCS, my claim was discontinued which was an absolute relief. I would highly recommend using JCS.
