I've recently been through a long (drawn-out) family law proceedings. I originally instructed BMD Law but when they closed down the firm I was asked if I would let to stay with Jeff Garland, my acting solicitor, to the new firm. This was the best decision I made, to remain with Jeff. As a solicitor he was able to problem solve and come up with ideas in an attempt to resolve my case rather than have it processing through the courts. Unfortunately, due to the other partiesy refusal, the case processed to court but this only made Jeff more determined to get the best positive outcome for me that he could. He work endlessly, responded to all calls and emails mostly within hours if not minutes and if unavailable, his responses always came with his apologies if it had been longer than the same day but always with good reasoning (mostly because he was working on something for me.) Jeff was always very supportive and understanding to the situation recognise my determination to find a settlement quickly and move on with my life. Jeff come up with lots of ideas and put forward many offers to keep my long term cost down but they was all that was dismissed by the other side. Thanks to Jeff and the support of his firm's director (apologies Jeff mentioned him by name but I never spoke directly to him so I'm unsure to his name) I was able to keep my home and actually save some money. My offer to the other party when the case first start would have cost me more money then the final agreed did. Yes my first offer would have saved on legal, court costs and stress. I would always recommend finding a settlement but if like my case, you are unable too, I fully recommend this firm and would hope that you are able to get an outcome that works for you like I did. I couldn't thank Jeff and All Law enough for getting me the outcome, that through their support and determination had an amazing end. The legal costs are always going to be high in court cases, but with the right firm/solicitor, it's going to be worth it. They managed to help me keep my house, recover money from a flat, and get a settlement with my ex-girlfriend for less than I first offered.
