Having gained a law degree from the University of Hull, Amy completed her post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in York, achieving a distinction. She began her legal career in 2012, working in personal injury teams at firms in Hull and Goole, before moving into clinical negligence in 2014. Amy initially assisted senior solicitors with a range of clinical negligence cases, including high value complex cases, before being given her own case load to manage. Shecompleted a period of recognised training before qualifying as a solicitor in November 2018. Amy has experience of a variety of clinical negligence matters, including claims relating to delays in diagnosis, prescription errors, pressure sore cases, orthopaedic cases and claims on behalf of bereaved families.
