The firm demonstrates a clear lack of professionalism in both communication and client service. Emails frequently go unanswered, and when you do manage to get through on the phone, the quality of communication is shockingly poor. One solicitor or paralegal in particular, Emmanuel, showed a complete lack of understanding when it came to the phonetic alphabet—something fundamental when dealing with important case information. The language barrier only made things more difficult, and it became clear very quickly that the team lacked the competence, and client care needed for effective legal representation. In a particularly concerning turn of events, I had to resort to finding out case details through contacts at HMP Belmarsh just to get some clarity, which is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Thankfully, the case has now being transferred to a much more capable and responsive legal team—either Assad Khan in Birmingham or Andrew Morris, both of whom operate at a far more professional standard. If you're considering using Dobsons Solicitors, I strongly advise you to think again. There are far better firms out there that treat clients with respect and handle cases with the diligence they deserve.
