I am a Senior Solicitor in the firm’s busy Dispute Resolution team, handling a variety of civil dispute resolution matters on behalf of both private individuals and business entities. I am all about achieving practical solutions and pragmatic outcomes. I undertake work on behalf of both Pursuers and Defenders ranging from commercial, contractual and property disputes to contentious private client work and debt recovery cases. I have experience of dealing with a broad range of civil matters including: consumer rights and sale of goods; consumer credit and finance agreements; disputes with builders and tradespeople; recovery of vehicles; disagreements between neighbours; and, issues between landlords and tenants, both commercial and residential. Experiencing a dispute of any kind can be a difficult and stressful time. That’s why I aim to be approachable, understanding and candid, working with our clients to identify their priorities and achieve a successful outcome in the circumstances.

They worked hard to resolve problems we had with furniture company but came up against a brick wall . Furniture company dragged there heals in and never responded to solicitors, But we would use Balfour and Manson if we have any further issues in the future. But we would never use this so called Furniture company ever again family and friends, of friends also know about the problems we had.

Boundary dispute
We have a neighbour who halted our building work claiming a boundary dispute but ended up harassing and intimidating us. Our solicitor Dylan navigated this situation really well for us. We followed through on all of the advice he gave. We were so relieved when we were able to complete the work, without incurring large costs. We really would have struggled to do that without his help.

Care Home - issues with a residents family .

Consumer dispute
I cannot tell you how reassuring Oliwia and Dylan where from the onset, professional and thoughtful.
Although the out come was not what I had hoped given the difficulty of the case I always felt looked after and assured they where negotiating in my best interest.
Prompt and attentive when needed.
If it this wasn't such an unpleasant circumstance I would have said the experience with Dylan and Oliwia was always very pleasant and satisfying . I can't thank them enough for their work on this case .

Tree Felling Dispute
Engaged B+M for legal advice on a long-standing dispute over land ownership of an area containing overgrown needle bearing trees adjacent to my property.
Dylan was assigned my case and he promptly and professionally established a course of action which allowed me to legally fell the offending trees.
