Fantastic free consultation
I had a free consultation to assist me with my pending divorce. The information I was given was extremely informative and helpful. Joanne spoke confidently and really put me at ease too. Should I require the assistance of a solicitor I will use them for sure.

Seemless process and really comprehenive online portal for gather information pre consultation, making the conversation much more targeted and efficient.
Joanne was highly knowledgable and offered pragmatic advice with no pressure to engage further uneccessarily. There is actually lots you can do yourself without costly legal fees!

Divorce advice

Great initial consultation and induction process
Going through a divorce. I found Major Family Law's website by just Goggling best divorce lawyers in Newcastle. The first step in asking for an initial (free) consultation is to go through the website's induction process. I found this very useful as it helped me organize a lot of the information I hadn't quite processed yet. It also displays everything in a helpful "roadmap".
The initial consultation was with Joanne, whom I found very smart, on top of things and helpful. She made me understand a few details that were quite important, and explained things very clearly. Lots of very useful suggestions.
Best experience with looking for lawyers so far! Will hire them.

Clear and supportive advice at a very challenging time
I contacted Major family law after finding them via a local Google search and reading all of the other positive reviews. After nearly 23 years, it looks like my relationship is sadly going to come to an end, and whilst things are still amicable between my wife and me, the reality and pressures of the next steps are now starting to hit hard. With no experience or idea of what may or may not be heading my way (apart from what I thought would happen in my head), I reached out to Joanne. The online questionnaire Major family law offered prior to my first meeting really helped me get the most out of the session as we didn't have to go through the basics which meant Joanne was able to explain possible options based on my specific situation. Joanne combines a straight-talking/no-nonsense approach with deep personal empathy. I'm still not 100% sure how things are going to work out right now but I will certainly be contacting Joanne and Major family law again if I do need the extra support. I have left feeling very comfortable a fair resolution on my part would be at the heart of what we achieve together, thank you so much Joanne, you will probably never know just how much you have helped me already.

Fantastic experience at a very hard time

Telephone Consultation
Applied online for a telephone consultation and was very impressed with the initial prompt communication and then the pre call questionnaire to complete which meant the Consultant had all the information to help advise. Very professional and helpful
