Impressive Exceptional Free Service!! At very short notice i had a a free 45min session with Calvin Walker today about my marriage to my husband of 42yrs announcing out of the blue he can no longer live with me. Calvin was calming and articulate in explaining the entire process of Separating / Divorce & Finance etc and everything else to consider when faced with this life changing experience. He was considerate in his approach and detailed in what to be aware of and shared knowledge of all the things to way up when i really didn't have the headspace or the energy. Thank you so so much Calvin for helping me navigate this hideous time in my life!! I first met Calvin Walker at the beginning of 2021 and his calm , gentle manner really appealed to me and I knew I wanted to instruct Calvin as my divorce Solicitor. It has taken over 4 years for my divorce to be finalised and Calvin has always been by my side throughout and has always shown me kindness , compassion and unwavering support even during times when the outcome we hoped to achieve looked impossible. The outcome for me was much better than expected and I could not have done it without Major Family law. Although the process of divorce / financial settlement is extremely stressful Calvin always kept me calm and offered reassurance throughout. Back in 2020 I applied to the courts for a ‘child arrangement order’ due to a sudden stop in access to my children and some severe allegations that turned my life upside down. I attended the first hearing in Oct 2020 and due to the nature of the accusations it was recommended that I should get some legal representation. I was lost, in despair and was having terrible thoughts that I may never see my children ever again. I did some searching online for top quality family law specialists. I seen that Major Family Law we’re offering a 45 minute consultation so I thought I’d give them a call to get some further information. How thankful I am to myself that I made this call because I feel without doing so I may not be in the position I am today. I explained the situation (this was so difficult as I was still in shock that these allegations were even being thrown around) to one of their solicitors Calvin Walker. He is so professional, understanding and excellent at his job. His calm, wise and thoughtful approach to hearings put myself in the best stead to get my points across without feeling any pressure or anxiety. I felt like he genuinely cared and was always on the other end of the phone when I needed legal advise or just reassurance prior to a hearing. Not only that but the paperwork side of things was remarkable! So professional and carefully worded I just knew he had listened to every word I had said and got it on paper. What a gentleman. Master at his work. 100% recommend. After 2 years (the courts were delayed due to covid) I finally got the result I wanted and seen my kids for the first time which was a great success. I am once again a happy man and I thank Major Family Law for this.
