Because a friend had given such a high recommendation, I expected a more pleasant, personable experience, but sadly it felt very impersonal. I hoped to meet Isil briefly to build a personal connection but that request was ignored. I had hoped a weekly update would be standard, but instead I had to ask for that each time. It seemed my transaction was very low priority, with quite a long delay after the queries were received before they were dealt with. I did appreciate Liz's explanations the time I had questions and the way things were handled quickly and efficiently in the last week. Technical matter: I mentioned to your receptionist early on that the hold music on the telephone system is very bad (dreadfully distorted music much too loud - annoying and unprofessional) but this remained the same for the full 11 weeks I dealt with the firm. I recommend that a member of staff calls in from outside and asks to be put on hold to experience this! I'm sorry, but few of the boxes below are things I would say about this firm. Someone recently asked me if I would recommend Wragg Mark-Bell and my answer was "no".

Used the services of Isil Cowan to purchases a property outside Cumbria, and although there were difficulties, Isil was extremely diligent and tenacious in ensuring the purchase went through by the preferred date.
