Nishant, Anand, and all the team at Ronald Fletcher & Co provided me with a professional and courteous service and despite some set backs were ultimately effective in ensuring that I sold my flat. I was delighted when the sale finally came through and am very grateful to them for their support. I recommend them and would use their services again.

Rubbish
I had the displeasure of dealing with the office nepo hire, Anand Virdi for a small verification job. He took great exception to being questioned on fees post which the level of professionalism nosedived. Regardless of differing viewpoints, the style of communication was appalling. You’ll see some of this in responses to their negative reviews on Google as well. Their complaints process requires you to complain to the person you’re complaining about which clearly gets you nowhere. Some samples of communication which required a complaint to the Ombudsman who in turn had to ask him to make a formal apology: "I refer to our conversation where you failed to comprehend ...", "it was not cost effective for me to address your concerns" etc.

Dear Sir, Firstly, we are surprised to note the length of time between providing our service and your review – almost a year and a half later. Secondly, we take strong exception to your derogatory and defamatory comments in your review. Our Mr Virdi is a core member of our Firm who contributes to all aspects, including but not limited to development, management and operations. His qualifications, dedication and work ethic have allowed him to assume his position within the Firm so your notion of “nepo hire” is nonsensical and woefully erred. Thirdly, and without providing a prolonged response here (which has already been provided to you on 31st July 2023), the crux of your complaint related to the additional costs payable. We maintain that the higher fees are applicable where the ID verification pertains to a company director, as opposed to a private individual, given the additional due diligence required. If you were not agreeable with the nominal fixed fee that was clearly provided at the time of your online booking, (i) there was an opportunity to raise your concerns prior to the meeting time which you had scheduled and/or; (ii) you were free to go elsewhere for your required service. It is evident that you were not able to comprehend the salience between the different verification requirements for a company director. Finally, the great lengths you appear to have taken for a tiny verification matter is astonishing; voluminous correspondence being sent to dispute a pre-agreed nominal fixed fee as well as then escalating to the Legal Ombudsman. Clearly, the Ombudsman also took a dim view of your baseless complaint who, having reviewed our detailed response, stated that your complaint would be “unlikely upheld”. In order for the complaint to be dismissed, they suggested that an apology be offered to appease you, which we did in the interest to dismiss this non-cost-effective saga. Resultantly and satisfyingly, the Ombudsman closed their file. Having conducted thousands of verifications of this nature and your case being the only resulting in a complaint, it is evidently telling of your puerile demeanour. We fully delivered on the service you've booked in advance at the agreed fixed fee, and as such no refund was provided. Noting such pitiful conduct from a property portfolio owner is bemusing – we wish you all the best but struggle to envisage you going far whilst continuing in this manner. Yours faithfully, RF&C LLP
