I am originally from Dorset and moved to Wiltshire to pursue a career in three day eventing when I was 17 years old. During this time I studied at Bath University as a sport scientist. After a career ending fall I changed paths and studied law. I qualified in 2010 and was employed by Bevirs in their family team in 2013. I mainly undertake work for clients in cases where Children Services have serious concerns about how a child is being looked after and are either considering legal action or have started Court proceedings. I act for parents or the child. Being a party to care proceedings is an extremely distressing and worrying time. I go through these proceedings with my client, either at court or in the office, providing them with advice and trying to reduce the stress and uncertainty, enabling them to focus on making positive changes.
