Catherine joined Harrison Drury in 2020 following a relocation from Manchester where she worked for over ten years with Cobbetts LLP. Catherine qualified in January 2000 having trained in Wigan and progressed to a firm in Altrincham showing a very early preference for anything property-related. At Cobbetts, Catherine worked within a case management team acting for telecom providers in site acquisition, upgrades and estate matters and both incoming and outgoing site share. Following a maternity break, she moved to the Banking Sales team carrying out due diligence and putting a wide range of properties into auction or handling private sales. It involved dealing with some complex areas of banking/mortgage law, liaising with asset managers and local agents to ensure sales were pushed through, and dealing with the proceeds of sale in accordance with mortgage law.
