Jenna Atkinson

Jenna Atkinson took on my divorce case at a late stage of the proceedings, she was willing to put in the extra hours to read into my case and understand fully the situation and issues at hand. Not only did she represent me with the upmost professionalism but demonstrated an empathetic approach from start to finish listening and guiding me through the home painful process. The outcome of my case was far above any expectations, previous representation failed at great length to understand the Dynamics of my case which resulted in a termination of contract. Jenna and the team from Harrison Drury went above and beyond to enable me to reach the verdict/ outcome I desired.. and some. A massive thank you to Jenna and the team for an amazing effort all round.

Very professional

Living aboard and getting divorced in the uk bring up problems. But may I say the guys and ladies have been outstanding.
Good communication, quick replies to emails and a fully understanding of what I needed to be done.

A great experience from start to finish!

I cannot fault the service I have received from this company.
From initial enquiry through to completion the people I dealt with were excellent - approachable, knowledgeable and I could communicate easily using email, as phone calls were difficult due to shift work. Highly recommend!

Conveyancing

The number of errors made on my conveyance was astonishing considering HD is attempting to position it and its pricing at the higher end of the market. Had to chase the lawyer managing this constantly to make progress. Appalling standard of written communications and report. There is no excuse for such poor English gammar and typos. Transfer docs were wrong, mortgage communications were incorrect, stamp duty calculation was wrong. Even the bill was wrong. Wont use them again. Work always done last minute and compressed time to review. Just glad i am in the profession and knew what i was doing.

Slow reply and extremely expensive. Was forced to use them for a remortgage, which took so long (4-5 months) due to every single details they ask back and forth, circumstances changed so it failed. Was charged £800 bill after already paying them £800, very expensive for incompetent work. I've paid less than this in a purchase than this failed remortgage.

I have recently bought a house using Harrison Drury solicitors, and from start to finish, Tracey and her team have been excellent in completing the process at speed; they kept me well updated throughout, and always most helpful in answering my questions - always quick to come back to me and clear to understand. I’m so pleased I came to Harrison Drury and would highly recommend to others. I shall be back soon!

A client

As someone in a chain with our buyer represented by this outfit, I cannot stress enough how horrible and deeply unprofessional this firm has been. Tracey McCambridge continually delayed and ignored our solicitor to such an extent that we were forced to pay excessive fees, cancel multiple decorators and builders and genuinely found ourselves in such a dark and stressful place. Unprofessional, immoral, unnecessary and just downright ridiculous behaviour for months on end. We lost two months of maternity leave because she couldn’t be bothered to reply for upwards of 10 days at a time, when finally pushed on things she claimed harassment, unbelievable, and so far from the truth that everyone involved in the chain was gobsmacked. At the last hurdle when finally all was in place she turned her “out of office” on. Then lied about NatWest supplying details “late”meaning we had to wait 3 more days, delaying everything to such an extreme level that we were 2 hours away from being personally liable for the sale collapsing.

We cannot understand what she was doing for 5 months. We cannot understand why she took weeks to respond to normal queries and issues, everyone else in the chain was ready to go for TWO MONTHS.

Anyone dealing with this company must be aware, and we will be making a lot more of a stink about this shambolic firm in the coming week. Harrison Drury has cost us over £5000 pounds in extra fees.
