Poole Alcock were excellent from start to finish when my partner and I purchased our first home - completion Sept 2023.
They clearly explained their fees (which were fixed and very reasonable), responded to any queries immediately, chased up the seller's solicitor quickly and we're always available to help us through the many first time buyer questions (and nerves).
As a first time buyer I cannot believe how easy they made the whole thing for us - they were always ready to go with the next part of the process, friendly and professional, and reassured us every step of the way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Amelia and her team, Daisy and Katy, were fantastic throughout and a pleasure to work with.

All round disappointment
Emails and answer phone messages always ignored. No updates on any progress. Very unorganised, nobody seemed to ever know what was going on. Communication between the team was very poor. Many false promises of jobs being done, but never were. Constantly required chasing up several times before things were ever completed. Generally poor quality performance which made the experience far more painful than it had to be.

Great Service
We have recently completed the sale of my late Mothers Retirement Apartment which should have been pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, the people purchasing our buyers property caused difficulties but Amelia did her job really well. I could always speak either with Amelia or one of her team and my emails were always replied to. All documents that we sent over to Amelia were immediately forwarded to the buyers Solicitor to keep pushing things forward. We were very pleased with Amelia’s work and that of her team together with some other staff members who were in touch with us once completion had taken place.
