Samantha has practised exclusively in the area of matrimonial law, since 2008, when she worked with Rachel before Watson Thomas was first established. Whilst Samantha has predominately worked within the local area, she has also gained invaluable experience working for a firm in Weybridge, working on high net worth, high profile and complex financial cases. Samantha has knowledge and experience of various areas of family law for both married and un-married couples including divorce, finances, children disputes, injunctive proceedings, cohabitee disputes and separation agreements. Samantha is a member of Resolution and is therefore committed to encouraging a conciliatory outcome to each case where possible. Samantha was a final nominee for the national award of Chartered Legal Executive of the Year in Family Law for 2018. Samantha believes strongly in providing clients with a pragmatic and sensible approach to the difficulties of family breakdown and is always supportive and compassionate. Sammie helped me through the process of my divorce. She was sympathetic with my situation and explained all options open to me along with potential consequences of the options. I felt fully informed with all potential outcomes. It was a stressful and emotional process for me personally but Sammie was always available to provide reassurance when I required it. I thought that Sammie was very knowledgeable and articulated her point across to me and the other parties solicitor very well. I also found it useful to know the capped amount that would be charged for the divorce as this helped me plan financially as I knew the maximum amount for each stage.

Watson Thomas handled my no contest divorce for me which unfortunately coincided with COVID 19.
Despite disruption to their working practices they were always on hand to answer questions and kept me up to date with the process, taking pains to explain what would happen at each step. When things did get a little complicated Sammie was very supportive and smoothed everything out. It’s also worth pointing out that I only paid the set fee but feel like I received personal service that went beyond what I was expecting. I would definitely recommend Watson Thomas, and more specifically Sammie.

Samantha Armour and the team at Watson Thomas, guided me through my divorce.
It was the most awful and stressful time that I have ever experienced. The advice given and representation from them was outstanding. Proffesionalism always yet warmth and understanding. Myself and my three boys now have a secure future. I cannot thank them enough, through such a anxious and stressful time, someone was always available to discuss, calm and reassure. I would fully recommend the services of Watson Thomas Solicitors
I experienced a very difficult divorce from my ex-wife, however the whole process was made so much easier with the support and advice that I received over the 4-year period that it took. Especially thanks to the professionalism of Sammie, Rachel and Clive, who without them I would not be in the position I find myself today. A fully deserved 5 stars !!
