This was my first time buying a house and it all went perfect, 6 weeks from start to finish is not bad and now I get to live in my lovely home. Very positive experience on the whole, especially seeing that it took 3 attempts to for a sale to go through (no fault of WGA). Only slight negative was the transfer of funds at the end, it this era of instantaneous online transfer, 3 days for BACS transfer is excessive. Indeed, same day should be the default with an option for instantaneous/CHAPS payment.
