Claire heads Hanne & Co's Private Client department. Her varied caseload includes inheritance tax planning, wills and trusts for disabled people, lasting powers of attorney, administration of estates and probate. She specialises in contentious probate matters such as Trusts of Land claims, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependant) Act 1975 claims, and contesting wills on the basis of invalidity, lack of capacity, lack of knowledge and approval and estoppel. Claire is known for taking time to listen to her clients’ individual circumstances and looks at achieving not only a fair resolution to disputes, but one that is practical and workable. Claire also works closely with Trinity Hospice and National Free Wills Network in relation to wills. She is also a member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners).
