I am Amy Trevellick, a solicitor and collaborative lawyer. I originally trained as a barrister at BPP Law School in London and was called to the Bar in 2008. I later transferred my skills to qualify as a solicitor in 2011, having found that I yearned a closer client-lawyer relationship that work at the Bar just couldn’t deliver. I gained my experience at a renowned central London firm specialising in family law. I took a particular interest in divorce and financial cases, and those involving international families with property and assets abroad. I also helped clients with cross border child arrangements and relocation within or outside of the jurisdiction. I later joined a practice in Essex before moving to Sussex in 2017. I have earned a reputation both locally and further afield as an efficient and effective family lawyer, and pride myself on offering excellent client care services. I am member of Resolution and a trained Collaborative Lawyer. I strongly believe that almost all family disputes are capable of resolution outside of court with the appropriate encouragement and guidance from professionals. I work with a range of experts such as mediators, financial advisors, pension experts and counsellors, to ensure that my clients are able to access the support they need at a crucial time. I am able to advise on matters including divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, pre and post nuptial agreements and international arrangements.
