Maurice Andrews Law Firm came highly recommended to us when our son got into serious trouble and was suddenly facing the possibility of a lengthy sentence. From the very first phone call with the solicitor Awais, we knew we had made the right decision. His calm confidence and professionalism instantly reassured us during one of the most frightening moments of our lives. After our first face-to-face meeting, we were introduced to Akeeb Yakoub and his uncle, the firm’s director, Mr. Yakoub. Speaking with them felt less like talking to lawyers and more like sitting with family members who genuinely cared. They were compassionate, attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and – importantly - realistic. Yet despite the seriousness of the case, they were absolutely determined to do everything in their power for our son… and they truly did. The firm secured two extremely experienced barristers for us, including the exceptional Mr. Balbir Singh, whose talent, dedication, and meticulous preparation ultimately made all the difference. He represented our son at Crown Court with brilliance. Without his expertise, our son could have been sent away for decades. Instead, justice was served because of the relentless work and strategic precision of this team, he was convicted for far less years than the prosecutors had expected. From beginning to end, Akeeb Yakoub kept us informed of every development, every decision, and every possible outcome. Even after sentencing, he continued to check in with us - a testament to the fact that this law firm is not about ticking boxes. They truly care about the people they represent. When the case was later taken to the High Court because prosecutors challenged the sentencing and were hankering for a longer sentence, Akeeb Yakoub and Mr. Balbir Singh once again stepped into battle mode-fearless, prepared, and unwavering. Unorganised bunch of headless chickens who do not have a clue what they are doing . Akhmed yaqoob I don’t even wanna call him a rooki as that would be degrading to the law industry as he is not qualified him self yet he’s the ‘boss’, his brother is a rooki learner tho let me not forget to mention he’s also a headless chicken aswell . This group of headless chickens (I’m not even gonna call them lawyers/solicitors as I don’t want to disrespect the industry) will even loose a winning case . These lot don’t have a clue what they are doing they know nothing about law. he is too busy trying to run for mayor of West Midlands when he can’t handle a law firm Oh sorry how can you when you’re not qualified so your running a firm of headless chickens . £20,000 cash reward for you to post your qualifications online . These lots have over a co-worker of mine on a winning case, atrocious communication and organisation. For anyone thinking this is biased I do not know anyone from this headless chicken firm personally or have any relations with them . they have done over a few people that I know . IF YOU READ THIS AND STILL DECIDE TO USE THEM YOU WILL SIT IN JAIL AND REMEMBER THIS HONEST REVIEW OF MINE AND REGRET YOUR DECISION . Anyone who wants to loose a winning case or go jail use this firm of rooki headless chicks ruining peoples lives. They’re a very incompetence group of people who have unqualified people working there and scamming people for money and getting paid to send people to jail . These headless chickens do not care about you or your case avoid at all costs. I would give them 0 stars but that’s not a option unfortunately

Awful. I wish i never used this firm. I have no intention of ever utilising the services of this firm in the future, and I strongly recommend against considering them. This has undoubtedly been the worst "professional" encounter I've ever come across, and it's without question the most unprofessional solicitor firm I will ever encounter. They left my brother in a difficult situation during the court proceedings, as they didn't send anyone who was knowledgeable about the case; instead, they sent a student. The solicitor would call me saying they don’t know why they need to attend & that the owner doesn’t want to go. The Barrister assigned to the case was entirely new to it, having less than 12 hours to familiarize themselves, which proved to be absolutely catastrophic. During the whole period of working with the firm I would myself presenting evidence, questioning, going on leads rather than the solicitors! Also this came after they had already missed the deadline for submitting the defence statement earlier in the process – they had not even drafted it! Furthermore, they were uncooperative in keeping the family informed about developments and omitted crucial pieces of evidence in the case that the family had to present in court. I am pursuing formal actions with the CPS/SRA regarding this matter. The staff also demonstrated unprofessionalism by using informal terms like "brother" when the questions got tough and phrases such as "I'll tell you what it is, bro." To be candid, it's best to steer way clear of this firm. The owner Akhmed Yakoob refused to speak to the family, declined calls, meeting rather than face the inadequacy of his staffs actions on this matter. He talks the talk online, but does not back it up. I will be taking him & the firm through the relevant governing bodies due to their actions.
