I can’t recommend Nicki, Lynne, and the team at Jones Myers (York) highly enough. My divorce was complex and involved a family home, a business, and pensions, so it wasn’t a straightforward process by any stretch. From the outset, Lynne was absolutely brilliant incredibly responsive, calm, and reassuring. She made contact easy and always kept things moving, which really mattered during a stressful time. Nicki was outstanding. She clearly knows her stuff, explained everything in a way I could understand, and guided me through the process with confidence and clarity. At one point I made the (ill-advised!) decision to try and represent myself, which I quickly realised was a mistake. Nicki stepped in, untangled the situation, and quite literally saved me thousands. I’m genuinely grateful for that. What stood out most was how supported I felt throughout. This wasn’t just about legal knowledge it was about judgement, experience, and knowing when to push and when to steady things. I would 100% use Nicki and the Jones Myers team again… although I sincerely hope I never need to! If you’re facing a complex divorce and want someone you can trust in your corner, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I contacted Nicki for her to take over my case from another law firm, this was a very stressful time as more than twelve months had gone by with no sign of a resolution and I was loosing faith in the legal process, Nicki very soon regained my confidence and started to understand and offer expert advice on what I thought to be a complex and difficult case, her strong , fair but warm approach made the process much easier for me to focus on my role in the case, I was kept up to date at all times, both Harriet and Lynne gave me excellent support with there expertise when Nicki was unavailable making a very professional and compassionate team, I cannot recommend Nicki and Jones Myers highly enough for the service they have provided .
