Amanda Coldwell

Amanda joined Biscoes Solicitors in January 2023 having previously graduated with First Class Honours in Law with American Studies (LLB) at the University of Sussex. Amanda is currently working towards qualifying as a solicitor and will be sitting the SQE2 exams in April & May of 2023. Amanda is actively seeking admittance to the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme and has experience of representing patients before Hospital Managers’ Hearings and instructing Counsel and independent experts on complex Tribunal matters. Amanda is passionate about advising individuals detained under the MHA 1983 to ensure their views are respected and their rights are upheld.
