I contacted Pictons for a very small request (witness signing for a statutory declaration form), and everyone I spoke to was very helpful. Having called through to their switchboard at first, I was promised a call back from someone at my local branch which happened very quickly, a matter of minutes. I spoke to Sarah Crook who was very friendly and offered me a same day appointment. The office is very easy to attend, situated on the high street opposite one of Tring's main public car parks (free parking for the first hour). I was greeted by another friendly member of the Pictons team before Sarah popped into reception to sign and stamp my document for me. It was a small task which they bill a flat rate £5 for and could probably do without, disrupting their workflow etc, but it never felt that way given the friendly, cheerful nature of Sarah and her colleagues. If I need a solicitor for anything more meaningful in future, I know who I'll be contacting!
