Prior to joining Lanyon Bowdler, Thomas spent over 15 years in the property sector managing a substantial portfolio of residential and commercial freehold ground rents units and, following his qualification as a solicitor, was appointed as a director of a well-established Herefordshire high-street firm. Thomas advises on a broad range of commercial and agricultural matters, including: Acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property including profit à prendre, options and overage provisions, first registration applications of agricultural and ecclesiastical land, including by way of adverse possession and lost/destroyed title deeds, advising on the grant, surrender and assignment of leases for agricultural, commercial and charity clients, site setup and disposal by plot sales, drafting leases, agricultural leases and deeds of easement, advising on Landlord and Tenant Act notices as well as drafting licenses to assign, sublet and to alterations. Thomas joined Lanyon Bowdler as a senior associate in September 2026, within the Commercial & Agricultural Property Department, based in our Ludlow office. Outside of work Thomas enjoys powerboating and is a keen motorcyclist. To unwind he enjoys spending time with his family walking their Parson Russell Terrier.
