Tamara began her legal career in 2011, working as a paralegal in banking & finance litigation at an established Oxfordshire practice. she later moved to work in legal cost recovery at a Legal 500 firm based in Oxford, before commencing her training contract in 2014. In 2016, Tamara qualified as a solicitor and joined a Legal 500 firm in Reading, specialising in Pensions Law. In this role she primarily advised trustees and employers. After this, Tamara then moved to a Buckinghamshire firm, much closer to her home. Here, she became Head of Dispute Resolution and Employment. Tamara then joined Lennons in September 2018 to become our Head of Employment Law.

Employment law support

Tamara Barbeary and Navika Khanna supported me with an employment contract matter in the summer. Professional and compassionate

We needed help with a Local Authority regarding Care Home fees for a relative. The matter was resolved very quickly, and all the pressure was immediately taken away from us.

The team here recently helped me resolve a situation at work and I was more than impressed with their professionalism, speed, punctuality, attention to detail, and making everything so effortless. Everything was explained in detail and in plain english, and I was very happy with the high level of service. This may have been easier when you pop around to the office, but that fact that we did this all over zoom and on the phone, makes me feel secure and confident that I got the best possible representation that money could buy!
