I was incredibly lucky to have found then appoint James Urquhart-Burton in October 2025 to assist with my Mam’s CHC funding and from the first point of contact have been impressed, not only with James’ knowledge, professional manner, responsiveness and empathy, but the diligent and tenacious way in which all communications have been delivered, very clear and succinct. I engaged Mr James Urquhart-Burton to act for me in relation to a CHC decicion with regard to my mother's declining condition (due to Alzheimers disease). A decision that I felt was unfair and was worth challenging. I knew that I would need the support of someone who was familiar with all the processes and policies and working with James confirmed that he knows "his stuff" in this field. James proved to be expert in extracting relevant information from my statements in order to take the matter to formal appeal where, between his knowledge of the system and my records and familiarity with my mum's situation, we managed to reverse the negative decision made by the NHS Assessor. We, as a family, are very grateful for the legal support we had from James in this matter.

I can only praise the care and advice provided by James in respect of the possibility of obtaining NHS Continuing Health Care for my relative. Unlike the most advertised company offering the service, I was not asked to pay for their complete service in advance. Winston charged me on a time spent basis. This meant that having evaluated my case and concluded, after consultation with me, that the chances of sucess were slim to nothing, I only had to pay a fraction of the price quoted and asked for by the TV advertised comapny. I would reccomend them to anyone.

From the first call to the final resolution in reclaiming my Mums care fees, James has been very clear and honest in his communication through out the process. Reclaiming care fees is not easy to do but with his expertise and knowledge he was able to complete the process in the time outlined despite the various obstacles put in the way by the people we were dealing with.
