I was half way through a very difficult divorce when I found Forbes Solicitors.
I found my previous solicitor to be unsupportive and felt that she wasn’t interested in exploring my situation and was allowing the other party to dictate all the terms.
When I first spoke to Karen(Paralegal) about moving my case to Forbes I was immediately put at ease. I then had a meeting with Nicola(solicitor). She was very helpful and knowledgeable and I felt that at last I had someone willing to explore all possibilities.She made suggestions about information that I needed to gather to support my case as I am now a lone carer for my disabled son and would have been put in an impossible situation if as my previous solicitor had said the court would probably decide that all the assets would have to be split equally.
I ended up with a good result and will now be able to continue caring for my son without struggling.
Throughout the process Karen and Nicola were totally brilliant. Anne the secretary was also great!
They were always easy to contact and responded very quickly to my questions.
I felt totally supported and safe in their hands and will always be grateful for their support during the most difficult period in my life.

Review on my experience with Forbes
I was going through a divorce and required help with a financial agreement with my ex partner. Forbes solicitors were fantastic with how quick they arranged everything, reminded me when documents had to be returned. Assisted me with the form filling when I was unsure. Easy to contact and responded very quickly. I was really pleased with the overall service

Service received during Divorce
I had an exceptional experience with Forbes during a very upsetting, very difficult and challenging Divorce.
Nicola Rushton was very efficient and knowledgeable but also sensitive and understanding to what I was going through with my mental health. She got me through this divorce and I am truly grateful.

Nicola Rushton and team
Nicola Rushton and her team have been professional, patient and understanding with my divorce. Nicola is very approachable, friendly but also easy to understand when going through this long process. I would definitely recommend her to anyone going through the same process. Nicola also helped me with my confidence and mental health making sure I understood everything along the way.
