***** STAY AWAY, USE SOMEONE BETTER ***** 2 years on they have finally closed my case and tried to bill me even though the claim 'no win, no fee' After the third party admitted fault to crashing in to me, the solicitors attempted to get greedy and claim £8000+ from the third party. The solicitors attempted to indirectly black-mail me in to going to court to attempt to chase the £8000 after originally saying I didn't have to. They also mentioned, If I lose the court case I would have to pay for the third party solicitor fees even though they admitted guilt. I said I was not comfortable going to court due to medical reasons and not willing on gambling the court case. Because it's either I get £8000 and the solicitors take a big cut or I'd have to pay out £XXXX And also I MAINLY suggested to reason with the third party for 1/3rd of the amount. The solicitors, being greedy, did not like this and terminated the case. I told them many times, at least attempt to get 1/3rd of claim. They ignored this requested and terminated the case. Finally after two years, I've submitted a SAR request which they have one month to respond to and going to the legal ombudsman for compensation against the solicitors.
