I cannot recommend Andrew Lawrie based on my experience. He was responsible for handling a Deed of Variation as part of my flat sale — a time-sensitive legal document that should have taken a matter of weeks. Instead, it dragged on for several months, with little to no communication throughout that time. Despite repeated follow-ups from my solicitor and others involved in the transaction, Andrew consistently failed to provide updates or take timely action. The delay became so serious that it began to jeopardise the sale entirely. It was only after I escalated the matter and expressed extreme frustration that the deed was completed — within 24 hours, proving that the delay had never been necessary in the first place. This experience caused a great deal of unnecessary stress, delay, and risk. I found the handling of the matter to be deeply unprofessional, and I would strongly caution others seeking efficient or responsive legal work to look elsewhere.
