I joined Hedges in June 2021 advising clients on a range of family law matters, but in particular divorce, financial matters arising from a divorce, and cohabitation disputes. I like to get to know my clients, and offer a personal, yet professional service. It is important to me to not only be a trusted legal advisor, but also a friendly face and somebody you can trust to guide and support you through the process. I am a member of Resolution, as I consider the most important thing is to keep animosity between separating couples as low as possible at such an incredibly emotional time. I enjoy long walks, especially along a river on a summer’s day, or through the woods in autumn to crunch through the leaves. Recently, my partner and I have got a puppy, so now our walks are joined by our four legged friend, Dougie.

Very pleased with the work done by Hedges and Lauren
Lauren came on board at a tricky stage in proceedings with my divorce. She instantly provided clear, focussed and expert advice. Her communication, together with the rest of the team, was professional. I appreciated the way she gathered my input on issues and factored that into the process and through her expertise managed to make the entire process immensely stress free. If I had to do it all again I would work with Lauren at Hedges
For me, there was that moment in my separation where everything went from amicable to horrendous in the blink of an eye. At this point in time I know I needed to seek the legal support I probably should have had from the beginning. I wanted someone who felt like they were 'on my team', with the legal knowledge to help keep my chin up on days where it felt like I was going to loose everything. I was recommended to Lauren by a colleague and I instantly knew her friendly but assertive manner is exactly the person I needed to see me through the hurdles. In kindness I hope I never have to use Laurens services again, but I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone.

My Messy Divorce
I really can not thank Nicola & Lauren for all they have done for me over the last few months, every detail was dealt with so professionally, i was never in doubt or concerned with the advice and service they were giving, it was always 100%.
And as of today they have giving me my life back by sending me my decree absolute.
