Rabina Khaleeq is a Paralegal in the Industrial Disease Department. Before joining the firm, Rabina worked at Direct Line Group for 8 years as a Claims Handler predominantly dealing with Road Traffic Accidents from the Defendants perspective. During her time as a Claims Handler, Rabina had her own case load managing claims from the start until settlement. She studied Law LLB at the Leeds Metropolitan University and graduated in 2014. After the completion of her degree, Rabina went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Beckett University on a part time basis whilst working full time at Direct Line. Rabina joined Oakwood Solicitors in February 2022 as a Paralegal doing Claimant work in the Industrial Disease team. She has her own case load comprising of various ID matters such as NIHL, Manual Handling, Repetitive Strain Injury, Work Related Upper Limb Disorder to name a few. Rabina wishes to obtain a Training Contract with Oakwood Solicitors in the near future.

    I was dealing with Rabina throughout this long process, which was nearly 3 years. During this time Rabina was professional, friendly and always courteous. Explaining each phase as it arose and guiding me accordingly. Whatever was put in as an obstacle or issue she navigated, explaining in layman terms how she/we were going to address the problem. Although a process that involves this amount of time and level of detail can be worrying, I always felt reassured that my interest/concerns were being well looked after by someone who had a genuine interest in me. There was always an honesty of what the end result could be with no illusions along the way.
