She is a member of a pop choir that sings around Chester, North Wales and Merseyside, often for charity. In 2024 the choir released a charity Christmas single that briefly reached No. 1 in the charts. She also runs a book club for professional people in Chester. The real light of her life, however, is Buddy the Springer Spaniel who accompanies her on long walks.
