Steve joined Bankfield Heath Solicitors in 2013 and has been a major part in helping the firm become what it is today.
Steve deals with a wide range of applications and undertakes work at all levels, both legal aid and private. He is very experienced at preparing applications for submission to the Home Office and he represents clients at the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal.
Steve’s work also involves applications for judicial review which challenge decisions of the Home Office where there is no right of appeal. He is dedicated to holding decision makers to account and ensuring that his client’s cases are looked at properly and fairly.
He has a vast knowledge of asylum and human rights issues relating to many countries, particularly those in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa.
Steve has assisted many clients come to the UK to join family members. He has assisted refugees be reunited with their partners and children after many years of separation in some cases. He has also helped many clients with spouse visa applications.

My immigration journey was a rollercoaster but thanks to Steve Foley and Bankfield heath Solicitors team for their professionalism in working on my case. It was a hard battle but it is a victory. Exceeded my expectations
I also want to thank you for your hard work as you helped me a lot with my case and finally I will be able to lead a new life here in the UK. The service you provided exceeded my expectations. My friends were speechless when I told them about it, it was totally different experience comparing to them. They had to chase their solicitors for updates, they have been ignored many times and even had to contact the Home Office themselves for updates and enquiries. But you were completely the opposite as you were always available when you were needed, you replied as fast as you can to my enquiries and chased the Home Office in my behalf for updates. I wish you a very good luck and I will definitely seek Bankfield Heath’s for advice when my residency permit expire as you proved to be reliable and efficient.
