Acted quickly and efficiently
I have hired Daniel Oakland on two occasions when I was unfortunate enough to be made redundant. In both cases, he offered good advice, handled settlement agreements - including a compromise agreement the first time and acted quickly and efficiently.On the second occasion, I was made redundant at 5pm on Friday and yet he called me back on Friday evening to discuss my situation. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Extremely dedicated
I returned from medical leave and was faced with a sudden and difficult work situation and felt the need of legal advice to assess my rights and position in this matter. Daniel clearly explained the process and advised me of my options and rights regarding this matter. He then negotiated a settlement for me. A settlement has been reached and I am very happy with the help I received from Daniel to achieve this.Truly, there was nothing that Daniel could have done better. He took the time to have a clear understanding of my situation and then was extremely dedicated in getting it resolved quickly for me.

First rate job
Daniel helped my organisation with the drafting of employment contracts. He did a first rate job - quick turnaround, excellent end-product and excellent communication. He was very responsive to our requests to fine-tune certain elements of the contracts and came up with some ideas that had not occurred to us. I would unhesitatingly go back to him for further work and would (and have) recommend him to others.

Clearly explained
A personal dispute with the Dean of my School (University). Daniel was able to understand the situation and clearly explained to me the weakness and strengths of my positions. He thus advice me on what concede on and on what to focus my response on. The situation that had been dragging for months was resolved rather quickly by a strategic positioning which required partial 'retreat' on some fronts but led to what I felt was an overall 'victory' for the principles I was trying to establish.I cannot think of anything else I could be advised on and the letter that Daniel wrote was extremely effective to let the management know that I meant business.

He gave his 100%
The way Daniel dealt with my case was unbelievable. From the first contact until now, while we are waiting for the decision, he gave his 100% what one can think about. He was available for me at every point and responded to my queries when and wherever required. Daniel is a polite professional and respect he care his clients with dignity. When my contract was terminated unfairly, Ii was in a shattered and had very limited choices. Luckily, during my search for employment solicitors I came across Oakland and Co. Extremely thorough
My previous corporate solicitor tried to get me to pay personally for a company debt. The company was liquidated and he tried to collect his exhorbitant fee from me personally.Mr Oakland meticulously sifted through over 200 pages of evidence finally selecting the pertinent facts which showed the real truth of the affair. He advised me accordingly and advised me of the course of action.I am happy to say that the District Judge found in my favour. I am very happy with the outcome. Mr Oakland was extremely thorough and left nothing to chance.
