We were very pleased to be very ably supported by Oliver Riley, Partner at Eccles Heddon in Thirsk, with a property purchase and two property sales in recent months. Oliver was outstanding. The sales were complex and the purchase had its moments! Oliver went over and above to ensure everything proceeded smoothly. We had a particular issue with our mortgage company's legal representatives and Oliver cut through it in no time, taking over the conveyancing for the mortgage company at our request and ensuring we were able to complete in time. He did this despite being incredibly busy and we can't thank him enough! Oliver Riley was professional, patient and gave us such a sense of confidence. Both Oliver and Margaret did a wonderful job for me in dealing with an extremely complicated conveyancing transaction. Nothing was too much trouble, both were always and immediately available both via email and phone. My only criticism would be with the receptionist - or whoever answers the phone - who always seemed totally unaware and unfamiliar with clients/what Oliver was working on or where he was . I m not sure it works having one receptionist for multiple offices ?

Superb Service!
The team at EH again gave me superb service in my recent purchase of a slightly tricky coastal property in East Anglia. They were fastidious, efficient and straightforward in all their communications both with me and the vendors solicitor and despite various complications further down the chain they got me through the process. I cannot thank them enough and will certainly use them again. I would recommend them unreservedly to friends and family which I think is the best test!

A tricky out of county coastal conveyance
Oliver and team were superb in their help and support in my recent purchase of a coastal property in east anglia. They were attentive, kind and efficient and gave me excellent advice when the chain faltered on more than one occasion. Finally we got over the line very much thanks to their patience and skilled negotiations

Outstanding patience and expertise with difficult other party
Oliver represented us in dealing with a very large Utility company, whose intransigence made what should have been a straightforward agreement extremely and unnecessarily complex. Excellent Service
Oliver advised us on a land purchase and subsequent sale. His knowledge of the subject matter was excellent, but even more impressive was his ability to break that advice down for a layman such as myself.
