Tenancy surrender? No Surrender from Charley...
It was a tricky one, a cannabis condoning tenant with unauthorised unpleasant boyfriend, looming RRA and a neighbouring tenant with child stuck in the middle of a toxic situation! I wanted to run a s21 (never used one before in thirty years) alongside a surrender deal in a 'get money/don't get money' arrangement. Charley was brilliant, calm, concise and clear on the nuances of the s21 rules. Steadily, patiently, he worked our way through the labyrinthine legislation to get to the solution. He prepared the Deed of Surrender and the s21 notice, and two months later, she was gone. The s21 didn't have to be used in court, and thanks to Charley, I was able to sell the property and retire. Thank you again Charley :)
