Litigation Executive

I have been in legal practice for nearly 40 years and am a graduate of Exeter University. I joined Clarke & Son in 2014. In my career in law, I am experienced in dealing with a diverse range of contract disputes, including the supply of goods and services. I have developed a specialism in property litigation (including boundary issues). I also deal with debt recovery and insolvency. I continually act for a FTSE 100 client in the defence of complex, higher value consumer claims, together with disputes of a more novel nature. I also conduct personal injury, clinical negligence and professional negligence claims—both for claimants and defendants. I thrive in the robust pursuit or defence of client interests but remain pragmatic and sensitive to the need to adopt a more conciliatory approach when necessary or appropriate to achieve client objectives. I strive to deliver cost-efficient outcomes for all my clients. Away from work, I enjoy time with my wife and family. I am embracing a new chapter in being a grandfather. I enjoy football, now regrettably only as a spectator, and consider myself to be a brilliant cook.
