I instructed Alpine Law in 2024 to pursue repairs and compensation for prolonged damp and mould in my flat. The firm provided regular email and telephone updates, responded promptly, and explained legal options in a clear, accessible language. My principal contacts were Mark Zukas and Paige, and they both handled the case professionally, remained approachable throughout, and kept me informed at every stage. Alpine Law coordinated evidence collection, instructed surveyors, and drafted formal correspondence to the landlord. Their strategy was pragmatic and aligned with my priorities: secure repairs first, pursue compensation second. Some processes, notably scheduling remedial works and surveyor appointments, took longer than anticipated; those delays were explained and attributable to third-party contractors and the landlord rather than the firm. Their 'no win' 'no fee' arrangement was made absolutely clear at the outset, which provided reassurance when dealing with a large Housing Association. Repairs are scheduled for completion within 100 days, and I have received a compensation offer that I consider fair. A surveyor has also arranged an inspection of my kitchen damage, caused by an upstairs flood. Throughout the matter, the team were highly professional and treated me with respect and empathy, maintained accurate records of communications, set realistic expectations, and assisted with escalation when necessary.
