I am a Partner in the Corporate team of Coffin Mew, based in Newbury. I joined Coffin Mew in October 2018, after 15 years’ living and working in the United Arab Emirates. Having worked for a number of international firms during that time, I made the specific decision to join Coffin Mew because of the fresh challenge it represents. My role is to help grow and develop the firm’s Corporate offering, in the Thames Valley particularly, but also internationally. My experience has taught me that every deal, and every client, is unique. Managing international transactions has required me to appreciate and understand that clients can have a wide variety of experiences, expectations and understanding of the various stages of corporate transactions. Whether advising on an M&A or joint venture deal, or providing more general corporate advice (for example, on shareholder agreements, corporate structuring, or board and shareholder governance issues), I have learned to adapt my service offering to the individual requirements of my clients, in order to form a professional partnership with them.
