Great firm for conveyancing but they are unashamedly poor in litigation. Have used them and recommended them for conveyancing, and have always gain a great outcome.
For litigation, well been mislead, financially disadvantaged, lied too, been lied about to oppositions solicitors by Hallams, raised a complaint, had a complaint resolution, which would put me back to where I would be without their mishandling and lack of willingness. This was then taken back, and I was then dis-instructed by the firm as it was going to cost them money to correct their errors. Their PII insurers, Legal Ombudsman and now SRA have complaints on their hands to try to get them to honour their resolution, and I am hoping ultimately make them realise that they must treat their own clients with honesty and integrity, something they have sadly shown very little of.

I instructed Hallam Solicitors to sort my conveyancing and found Suhail Chowdri and the team to be professional, knowledgeable and very efficient from the very start to finish of the process.
Communication was excellent which I found so reassuring. Selling a property can prove very stressful at times but I felt I could trust this firm to help me every step of the way.
Highly recommended and I will not hesitate to re-instruct should I be in need of a relevant service in the future.

Matthew at Hallam & Co has just done sterling job in continually expediting our Mother’s Probate at a time when their office is taking over a year to process applications. Until then Wills cannot be finalised, property sold and the deceased’s wishes be met. Well persevered Matthew!
