I have a broad caseload of commercial property work and have extensive experience in all areas of commercial property law, including negotiating commercial leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants, freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, commercial and residential property development, property finance, renewable energy, property asset portfolio management and advising on the property aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions. I have particular expertise in acting for the retail and restaurant sectors and for charities. On the retail and restaurant side, I act for tenants in their roll-out programmes and for large landlords in letting out their portfolios and retail parks, with clients including charity retailers, national supermarket operators, national restaurant chains and high-end luxury retail. I trained in London and returned to the Thames Valley after practising in Tier 1 law firms in the City of London.

I contacted Coffin Mew regarding a commercial lease and have to say my experience was made a lot easier using someone that clearly knows every aspect of his profession! Mike Cooper was a great help not only did he literally walk me theough the process he managed to advise me on things I had no idea about! He was a great help extremely friendly and held great communication throughout the whole process a true professional. I would highly recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future.
