I can't begin to thank Holly, Samir and Sarah for their help throughout the case. I was caught using the wrong card and if I'm being honest that card was a high value card so I almost certain I'd be convicted. However, I put my trust in the team and the reassured me they would try their best to get the outcome I wanted and rest assured that's what they did. This morning I received the news that I have only been issued a warning. What I appreciated most was that they did not sugar coat anything, I was aware of the seriousness of this case but they kept me calm and explored my mitigating factors. I was contacted out of hours at the weekend following my enquiry. Holly from Manak solicitors called and she put my mind at rest that night, assuring me we would be able to settle out of court . My son foolishly had ignored letters from SWT regarding train fare evasion and had received a court summons from magistrates court. He would have been found guilty of train fare evasion which would of resulted in a fine and resulted in a criminal record. We instructed Holly immediately after a zoom call and within 48 hrs she had the case settled out of court. Worth every penny, the prospect of a criminal record at such a young age doesn't bare thinking about. She made it very clear to my son (young adult) the severity of train fare evasion which is fraud. Highly recommend.
