I have had the pleasure of having Dominic represent me in two occasions. Firstly in order to help me reach a financial settlement with my ex wife and then to help me agree child arrangements with my ex wife concerning our children. Throughout an extremely difficult and emotionally demanding process, Dominic was consistently supportive, attentive and protective of my interests. Dominic took the time to understand not only the legal and financial issues, but also the wider pressures I was facing as the primary carer of two children with complex special educational needs and disabilities. He showed a genuine and particular commitment to understanding our family’s circumstances and the importance of achieving an outcome that would provide stability and security for the children. I always felt that their needs, and the practical realities of caring for them, were properly understood and kept firmly in mind. He was calm, measured and reassuring, even when the situation between the parties was difficult. His advice was thoughtful, pragmatic and sensitive, and I felt that he genuinely cared about securing the best possible outcome for me and my children. From my initial call to B P Collins I was met with calm, kind and efficient responses. I expressed the urgency and importance of my situation and within 30minutes Dominic Beirne was holding my hand and helping me address the legal process I was involved with.
