Awful Experience Appalling Service! Stay away! A conveyancing process, which dragged on for 8 months due to negligence and a complete lack of understanding the process and professionalism. Are not capable of thinking ahead and anticipating problems! Mrs Aktan just delegated to her paralegals and then, after weeks, blamed them for delays and never held herself accountable for ANY issues/delays. Every single person in the firm was involved—solicitors, paralegals and it still took 8 months after already 3 months with another buyer!! How can any transaction take this long and then when the senior solicitor was involved took 6 weeks to complete? The firm’s incompetence caused me immense mental stress, physical exhaustion, and significant financial loss. I specifically asked them at start if they are not capable of a quick trnsaction then to tell me early on! I had to make hundreds of emails and calls I was left chasing answers constantly, even having to contact the sellers myself. This experience took a severe toll on my well-being. The constant uncertainty led to sleepless nights, anxiety, and fatigue, while I had to rearrange personal and professional commitments due to the firm’s mistakes. The impact was far-reaching and avoidable if they had simply thought ahead, a fact that makes the situation even more regrettable. The same solicitor confirmed an exchange and completion date, so I gave notice on my previous property, only to be told just three days before completion that it couldn’t go ahead. For the next three months, I was left scrambling, moving from one Airbnb to another while she went home to sleep in her own bed without a care in the world for the chaos she had caused. I have raised this with the Law society and I am seeking legal compensation for the emotional, physical, and financial damage caused. No one should have to go through this. This firm’s utter incompetence and lack of accountability are inexcusable. I urge anyone considering their services to **avoid them at all costs**—they have shown a complete disregard for clients' time, money, and well-being. Of course, the most senior partner (Eddie) had to be called to save the situation but ended up charging extortionate amounts extra and seeking advice from a Barrister after 7 months have passed as to what to do and the only person at loss was me!! Sarcastiaclly after all this I was offered 'a £100 amazon voucher for any inconvenience!' This firm must be held accountable for their failures, and I will pursue legal action to prevent them from causing further harm to others..
