Having qualified in 2007 I have practiced on the High street in areas of civil litigation, Chancery court matters, family and criminal law. I do as much pro-bono work as I can as I am passionate about access to justice. When I became Council Member for Birmingham and District I was, to my surprise and delight, automatically co-opted on the Birmingham Law Society. BLS is my local go-to organisation for solicitors and lawyers in and around the region. It was an organisation I was aware of even in my student days, such is its overarching importance in the region. It has enabled me to reach out to the local membership by giving me a platform that is not as distant as Chancery Lane in London. I can say with much humility how proud I am to be amongst people who care so much about law and lawyers in our area. For over two centuries Birmingham Law Society has endured and remained relevant. I have no doubt it will do so for another two centuries.

Will Writing

Mr. Justin Greidanus and Mr. Christopher Perry were extremely professional and supportive at the same time having a friendly approach to what is normally an unpleasant task, namely writing both mine and my husbands wills. They were extremely patient and helping us throughout making the task more pleasant.
